The next few days I’ll be posting pictures of a nativity that I made when I was in 3rd or 4th grade. Every year my Grandmother’s church had bible school in the summer and one of those years we made this whole nativity set during that week. It has been something that we have put out every year since and even though I’m still unhappy about some of my cutting skills when I was little(the sheeps head is too small I think), I love this set. It has held up pretty well through the years and I’m sure it has many more left. It is what really got me inspired to do this years nativity print that I’ve sold at several of the winter shows. I’ve been so busy lately I havent even had time to put it up on the store or put a picture of it up. So below is the digital picture and a camera picture of it framed.

Hey everyone, join us for this year’s Holiday Fair @ the Carolina First Center in Greenville, SC. Thanks to Kelly from Kelly Knits, we will have a space at her booth during Holiday Fair , DEC 3-5. Check out our Facebook event and sign the guest list. While your at it become a fan of Light Sheep Studios and be sure to receive updates and invites to special events! Along with Kelly’s handmade knit hats and apparel, we’ll have signed copies of Jonah, matted prints from Jonah and the new Nativity print with mat for sale there as well as the 2009 Christmas cards and some other things.

This year’s Holiday Fair is sure to be a spectacular event for the thousands of who will visit the region’s largest holiday arts, crafts, and gift show. The Carolina First Center, formerly the Palmetto Expo, transforms into a winter wonderland offering opportunities to find that one-of-a-kind gift for the Christmas Season. Exhibitors include more than 300 crafters and commercial vendors from 15 states in this three-day award-winning fair.

Hurricane Hoopla Arts and Craft Fair

Tomorrow is the Hurricane Pride Project’s annual Arts and Craft Fair. There are going to be over 50 artisans this year so it should be a great turnout. I have a table this year so come out and support your community. All proceeds go right back into the community. This year we’ll have Jonah books, matted prints, buttons, and a few Christmas items this year : Christmas cards and a new Nativity print with a pure white mat. Some of these will be put on the sites store so look for those really soon. Hope to see you all there!
